When a Fire chief car turns into a police car (MB-59 Ford Galaxie)

This is one of my favourite Lesney model car form 1970. The original one is a SuperFast Ford Galaxie Fire Chief Car, but I wanted a Ford Galaxie Police Car, too! The Matchbox produced the Ford Galaxie Police Car with regular wheels, but not with SuperFast. That's why I thought to make a custom one!

I bought a very dirty SuperFast Galaxie and as I looked at it I thought, it came directly from a playing ground. Luckily the chassis, the windscreen and the towing hook was alright, only the wheels were so worn, that had to be replaced.

At last I gave it original narrow SuperFast wheels, but smaller ones, because the originals were too large comparing to the chassis.

I made custom police stickers, not the Lesney ones.

An unusual Land Rover (Lesney MB-57)

There is a unique kind of Land Rover, not the usual one, because it is a fire truck. I bought it especially for my own collection, not for sale. My goal was a simple restoration, nothing special.

It has got a ladder on the roof, (I got it now), only I removed it, doesn' appear on this photo.
Originallly it had regular wheels, but I don't collect these models, only SuperFast ones, so I decided to change the wheels to SuperFast. I had to do very carefully, because the baseplate is a 50 years old plastic and it breaks easily. Otherwise a real SuperFast version  of this truck (in mint condition) is very rare.

I neede to create new 'Kent Fire Brigade' stickers, too.

An American icon: Dodge Challenger

Telling the truth, this car is not one of my favourites, but it was pretty good and easy to restore a Lesney-made Matchbox MB-01 Dodge Challenger.

Originally it was red, but I gave it a metallic bordeaux. I was told,it was a good choice!
The interieur got a light grey colour, because I didn't like its original chrome one. The I painted the details, as well.

And last, not least I designed a custom L-type box for this nice car!

An elegant German - from France

The end of the last year I could get a Majorette-made BMW 733 in a fairly good condition. The windows were not broken, the baseplate and the chassis also was OK. Originally it was metallic pale green.

I thought I give it a brighter colour, so I painted with my new metallic sea-blue.

I took it outdoor, too, to take some photos in the nature.

This car is not for sale but for my collection.
