Although it is a special Range Rover, its name is Carmichael Commando, made by Matchbox. When I bought it as a police car, I thought, I would make a fire recue truck of it. I didn't know that Matchbox produced this model as a fire car, too.

It got a nice orange-red colour, then the details:

I made a custom box for it, too!

A Fiat 131S By Norev

I used to have this Fiat 131 by Norev in mint condition 40 years ago, that's why I thought to restore this one when I saw it at a toy fair. Its condition was more or less good, but the wheels had to be changed for small narrow Matchbox SuperFast wheels (from a Ford Cortina).

Although I liked its original colour, I thought this light metallic green would be better now...

And after the paint I detailed it, of course:

An Audi 100 From Siku

I used to have this model car 40 years ago, so I decided to get it again. This is the member of SIKU's V-series, when the scale was only 1:60, not 1:55, like later. This is a nicely produced model with opening doors, so it was a must to buy one and restore/customize it.

I thought, a new colour wold be better, than the original was - I didn't like it.

And of course, I didn' forget the details, too!

A Rare French Model: The Renault 15.

Previously I restored a Matchbox Renault 17 and now it's the turn of a Renault 15! I have never seen before this small model car made by the Italian Polistil. Several producers made the R17, but the R15... I think only the Polistil did in this scale. Its scale is small, approx. 1:66.

When I bought it at a fair, it was totally naked, there was no paint on the chassis.

I painted nice metallic ligter blue, and I detailed, too. There was no need to change the window or the wheels.

Another Majorette Fiat 127

This cute Italian car is a must to have and customize. Maybe the Polistil or the Guisval models are a bit more exact, never mind, it is also a beloved one (the real car, too)!

It got new colour - a darker yellow - and naturally the details. I changed the wheels, too.

The Malaga. Not the grape, but the SEAT Málaga!

This is a rare SEAT Málaga, the brother of the Fiat Regatta, made by the Spanish Guisval. Previously I had never seen this model.

It is rather a toy car, than a model, the producer wanted to save the interior with the dark windows. At the first sight it was funny, because I saw no rivets or screws. How was it assembled? Then I found out, that it was snapped together.

So I could carefully disassemble, all the small flaps could survive! With the new color, new wheels and details, now it looks much better, became a model car!

At the end I made a custom box for it!

Opel Omega

This is an interesting Opel Omega Mk1 model, because there's nothing is written onto its baseplate. But by the internet I got to know that it is made by Welly.

Although it was in fairly good condition, I thought, I will repaint and customize, because that way it looked  as a toy, this way looks as a model car! So it got nice metallic burgundy and at the end I detailed, too.

I changed the wheels, as well:
