A really nice VW Golf 3 by Guisval

Telling the truth, the Volkswagen Golf Mk3 is not really one of my favourites. But when I saw the Guisval-made model, I got to like it at once, I think it's nicer, then of Majorette. (Previously I knew only the Majorette casting.) Luckily I found a Guisval model in fairly good condition, a good base for restoring/customization.

Its new colour was metallic bugundy so I painted the interior light sand colour. I painted the details, too to get it more realistic.

I liked its wheels, there was no need to swap them.

The Flagship Of The Renault In The Eighties

The Renault 25 was the executive car of Renault and was produced in the 1980es. I think, it is an elegant car with modern shape, I liked it very much. The Majorette casting is which I like the best.

This model I bought the last year was hand painted by a not so talented someone, it was no question to restore it and make it nice again!

The new, nice golden colour (here without the details yet):

And the finishing:

Cortina or Taunus?

Surely in England they call this car Cortina. In Germany - Taunus. In Middle Europe English cars were not so frequent, so when the Lesney released this model, we knew this car as Ford Taunus. Other producers had made this Cortina/Taunus, but I prefer the Matchbox casting.

That one I bought at a toy car börse begged for restoration.

So I obeyed her and restored/customized.

A Rare Volkswagen, The K70

This is a rare kind from the Volkswagen, had been produced for only 3-4 years. It had a new shape, a good looking car - all the same it was not a successful one. Some toy car factories made it, just like Schuco, Polistil and the French Majorette.

This was very shabby model, but in fairly good condition, so after remove the old paint it got its new skin, which has a bright yellow colour. I painted the fine details, too.

At the end it got its own garage, a custom box, too.

The smallest Mercedes from the eighties - the 190E

I always liked this smaller Mercedes-Benz, which had been made by several producers, like Siku, Majorette and some other factories from the Far East. I think the Majorette-made model is the nicest.

When I bought it, was a bit worn, the windscreen had to be changed.

Although some 30 years ago I had this Mercedes in this metallic green colour, now I don't like it, so I painted it with another colour:

 Is's complete with the details.
