The 2nd Majorette MB 190E

In the first part of the 1980s, the Mercedes 190E was the smallest model of Daimler-Benz and became a very popular vehicle, and as a toy car, too! I also used to have a Majorette one, but it was a long time ago. I decided to get it again and not in mint condition, but for restoration.

When I got this Majorette model, it was in poor condition, there was no doubt about the restoration.

I thought, it will be nice blue, and unusually paint the baseplate light grey and the interior, too.

 And then came the details:

A Majorette Audi 90

The next project is an Audi 90 by the French Majorette. When it got to me, was very ugly, someone tried to repaint it, but it didn't succeed at all. I'm not really fond of black (model) cars, so I decided to paint it some nicer colour...

After disassembling I thought, I'd paint the enterior, too!

But first of all the chassis come.

And then the details:

New Task For A Carmichael Commando

Originally I knew only the police version of this Carmichael Commando, but later I saw on the internet, that there was a fire version, too (don't mention the countless Bulgarian copies). I thought, I would make a new one, a high voltage maintenance car.

I like this yellow colour, I think it fits to this theme.

It's complete with the custom stickers:

An Opel Rekord by SIKU

This wasn't cheap even in shabby condition at a toy car fair, but I bought it, it was a must to buy and to restore - I love those models from the 1960s years.

Originally it was a dull grey car, I couldn't leave her in that look, I gave her nice gold colour!

I have never seen similar solution, how they created the suspension and fixed the axles, as well.

And the restored/customized car:

A Matchbox MB-57 Wild Life Truck - Not So Wild

Not so wild, because the lion is gone and I was thinking what to do with the empty back of the car... I could not get another lion, nor a canopy, so I should place there something else.

The Rola-Matics function didn't work, so it could deliver a usual load, like boxes and crates. I got them from my former H0 accessories. They fit well to the 1/64 scale models, too!
