I bought this Ford Cortina at a flea market and the car was 'nude', because had no paint on it at all. I knew, I will repaint it - only I didn't know that this poor Ford Cortina must wait more than 20 years for that action.
Otherwise the other parts of the car were all right, so the last summer I started to renew it. The window and the small wheels were in very good condition, so I used the original ones, it wasn't necessary to replace them.
The original colour might have been meatllic marine blue, so I painted it also blue, but a bit greyish-blue.
And in this case, too I detailed it.
And I made a custom G-type box for it:
This is for my private collection. Later I restored another Ford Cortina MkII, but that was for sale.
