The second restoration - and a bit customization, too - was a Matchbox Lesney-made car, a Fiat 1500. It is a funny-looking car, typically the 1960-s. Originally it has got a luggage on the roof, but unfortunatelly it is always missing from most of the cars for restoration I saw in shops or fairs.
Otherwise everything else was OK, the towing hook, and the windscreen, too, which is also a sensitive part of the old model cars, on one hand, because it might be cracked or scratched, on the other hand it can break very easily, because of its age.
It also got the nice light metallic green.
I made a change on the baseplate, because it had originally Regular wheels, but I prefer SuperFast wheels, so I created a special holder onto the baseplate for the SF wheels. I have no pictures of it, only the result:
Later I managed to get a luggage, luckily.
Although I know, it used to be a toy car for children, I detailed it, so it became a model car!
This car is also for my collection, not for sale.
